Information about More House

More House is a Catholic Community which supports the work of the West London University Chaplaincy. It serves as a Pastoral and Social Centre for resident and non-resident students.

Although More House is Catholic we are an inclusive community and students of other denominations and of other faiths are very welcome to apply for residence.

Sunday Mass is central to our community life and is attended by residents and non-residents. On Sunday evenings there is supper in the bar followed by a speaker or a social event.

Residents share Lodge Duty (6.25pm to 11pm) and Bar Duty (9pm to 11pm). For each student these duties occur once or (rarely) twice a term. Residents also join a team once a term preparing Sunday Bar Supper.

All activities at More House are a way of building community and students therefore commit to attending two Sunday evening talks a term and one weekly activity. All students attend the Induction Day which will take place on Sunday, 8th October 2017.
