Students who Apply to More House are asked to commit to participating in and contributing to building a caring community and working for justice and peace, according to their abilities.
Part of living in More House means that about once a term you will have to perform bar, lodge and bar supper duties.
A good way to meet other students and to build life together!
From 9 pm to 11 pm, serving drinks and snacks at the More House bar.
The bar is a place where all are welcome, with a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and snacks available at very reasonable prices. Music, pool table, dart board and other games are available.
From 6.25pm to 11pm, answering the telephone and buzzing open the door to visitors.
Once a week on Sunday afternoon a group of students is selected to cook a meal for the other students and visitors. All are welcome at 7pm for the supper. There is a small charge. Profits from the bar supper go to a charity of the students choice.
As well as the regular activities below, students can suggest ideas for other activities such as football, jogging, films, theatre outings, etc.
